Constructed with a Flat-profile coiled strand and a clear plastic exterior. (A narrower round profile wire is also available at an upcost). This can be used for brakes or non-indexed (friction) shifters.

These are reproductions of the cable housing produced by  Italian maker, Universal,  in the 1950's. Distinct mesh pattern exterior. They have been updated with a polyethylene cable liner for more modern performance.
