Why endure hours and hours of energy-sapping road buzz to save a half pound of weight. Most of our frames take both fenders and racks, so they are practical as well as speedy.

The Smoothie HP is the “high protein” version of our Smoothie road frame that was part of our line for almost 20 years. Extra large diameter, thin-wall Tange Prestige chromoly coupled with modern touches like thru-axles and compact geometry give this frame increased power transfer and road feel while still delivering a composed and plush ride at all speeds. The re-designed geometry combines a comfortable higher stack with a shorter wheelbase that rewards skillful riders.

- Tange Prestige heat-treated double butted CrMo steel

- Extra oversized down tube and chainstays for greater pedaling stiffness

- Ovalized top tube for increased lateral stiffness and vertical compliance

- Size specific tubing, larger downtubes on larger sized frames

- Comfortable high stack matched with a tighter wheelbase than the typical big brand endurance road frame

- Replaceable modular dropouts (12 x 142mm bolt-on thru-axle, fits flat mount disc brake)

- BSA Threaded bottom bracket shell

The Fog Cutter is an endurance road/road sport design. We designed it to fit fatter tires, but its geometry makes it handle like a road bike rather than CX or gravel bike. It can float you over chewed up asphalt better than most bikes in this category. This is the frame you want for grand fondos, long days in the saddle and the most demanding commutes.

• Tange Prestige double butted CrMo steel tubing; heat treated throughout

• Road sport geometry

• Tange Modular dropouts. Stock setup is for 142mm thru-axle hubs and flat mount disc brakes. Alternative styles available thru Tange/Long Shen.

• Fork options: Matching straight blade carbon fork (alloy steerer, flat mount, 12 x 100 thru-axle hub) or lugged CrMo steel fork (CrMo steerer, IS disc mount, QR hub)

• Tire clearance for 700c x38mm with fenders (some front derailleurs will limit tire clearance) and 650b x 42mm

• Fits 1-1/8" headset (EC34/28.6|EC34/30 headsets)

Cyclo-cross bikes like the early Double Cross frame were the ride-it-all bikes of their time allowing cyclists to use them as road bikes, light touring, off-roading, as well as in CX events.
With its advent and current stage of development, the gravel bike has become the new king of "ride-it-all".

With just a few changes in BB height and head tube angle, we made the Double Cross more stable for gravel and touring, more fun on trails, and still a versatile and fast commuter.

Comes in 10 sizes: 42cm up to 66cm

– Tange Prestige heat-treated CrMo steel front triangle; butted CrMo rear end

– Disc mount is located on the chainstay which allows you to put almost any rear rack or fender on it without fear of interference. Rear disc mount is International standard and fits 160mm rotors only

– Optional color matched fork: Straight blade unicrown fork with three bosses to allow for utility cage or pannier rack.

– Clearance for 700x45c tires (40c w/fenders. Some front derailleurs may reduce this clearance) We recommend 650b/27.5" wheels for 42cm size to reduce toe overlap with the front wheel.

– Rear hub spacing is 135mm (10mm axle QR hubs)

– 1-1/8" size headtube (for external cup headsets)
